🥹🐾💜 Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the incredible Heisler family!
In lieu of gifts for their child’s birthday, they asked their guests to bring donations for a nonprofit animal rescue—and they chose Belly Rub Ranch Rescue. What an incredibly kind and meaningful way to celebrate!
They brought us an unbelievable collection of goodies, including healthy food and treats, toys, enrichment items, cozy dog beds, blankets, supplies, and even a beautiful covered litter box that will be perfect for our older cats who live separately from the younger crew. 🐱💜
The family also spent time here meeting some of our cats and dogs, our week-old puppy and mama, and even the pigs and chickens! They were such a precious family, and it meant so much to show them some of the animals whose lives they are directly helping.
What touched us just as deeply as the donation itself was the example these parents are setting for their children. Kindness and compassion aren’t only things we tell children about—they’re things we show them through the choices we make. By turning a birthday celebration into an opportunity to help animals in need, the Heisler family showed their children how much joy can come from giving, sharing, and caring for others.
Donations like these make a tremendous difference in our everyday work. The food and treats help keep bellies full, the beds and blankets provide comfort and security, and the toys give our animals the play, stimulation, and enrichment they need while waiting for their forever homes.
To the entire Heisler family and everyone who contributed: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity has blessed so many animals here at Belly Rub Ranch Rescue, and every single item will be appreciated, loved, and put to wonderful use. 🙏🏼🐾
