Join us once per month for yoga on the farm and with the animals! Our 5-acre educational farm serves as the perfect, peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day. Classes instructed by Patty Kulak.

The hump on these cows is made up of muscle and fat, unlike camels where their humps are made up of fatty tissue.

The name Zebu is believed to be descended from a Tibetan word meaning hump.
These humps serve an important purpose to the cows by keeping their internal body temperatures low when temperatures rise. 🐮

Yesterday we had an amazing time with the 5th graders at Innovation Preparatory Academy of Naples ! Participants had the chance to explore the basics of gardening through hands-on, interactive learning. Together, we used materials such as seeds, soil, and compost to practice the steps of planting while learning what plants need to grow
and thrive.

Thanks for coming out to have some fun, learn, and develop a meaningful connection to the
land.

Did you know we have TWO Sulcata tortoises at the farm? Yoda (Pictured) is the larger of the two, weighing around 150lbs, he is 27 years old. Herbert is our younger Sulcata, weighing roughly 10lbs and is 4 years old.

These tortoises are powerful animals and love to burrow and bulldoze though their environment. Sulcatas can reach an average size of 24-30 inches (60-76 cm) and an average weight of 100-200lbs (45-91 kg).

-Social & Open Farm 5 PM- 5:30 PM
(Relax and get in the right mindset to slow down and breath.)
-Yoga 5:30 PM-6:30 PM
(Led by a professional, licensed Yoga instructor.)

WHAT TO BRING:
-Yoga mat
-Water
-Bug spray (natural available for purchase at the farm)

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Empowerment Farm this summer! 🐄💙

From July 27th to July 31th, we’re hosting a fun-filled summer camp for ages 9 to 12, and we’d love for YOU to be a part of it! To keep things running smoothly and consistently, volunteers will be required to participate for all 5 days of the program from 8 AM - 1 PM.

As part of the process, volunteers will need to complete a background check within 60 days before the camp kicks off. While our organization is not able to cover the cost, don’t worry – we’ll send you all the details and a link to make the process as easy as possible.
