Napa Moms is a member-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports mothers and families.

Every one knows that being a mom is the hardest job on earth. Being a mom also can be a lonely job without a strong network of support. Napa Moms offers a steady foundation of activities & resources for our members. Napa Moms is a great opportunity to meet new friends, get to know your community as well as introduce your children to new playmates and activities.

Our community partner, Blue Oak School, is hosting a Fall Family Showcase Open this Saturday, October 17, beginning at 1 PM.

Come explore their campuses, meet inspiring educators, and learn about our innovative curriculum. This event will take place at Blue Oak School lower and middle school campuses located on Polk Street.

Join us for an evening of film, conversation, and community centered around the realities of motherhood.

Community Resources for Children and Napa Moms invite you to a special screening of No Country for Mothers at Blue Oak School. The film explores the challenges mothers face while balancing work, family, and everything in between.

The screening will be followed by a facilitated community conversation, giving us space to reflect, share, and talk about how we can better support mothers in our community.

And because we know finding time for yourself isn’t always easy, we’ve worked to make this a family-friendly event:

✅ Complimentary child care for up to 30 children ages 4+
🍽️ Children in child care will be provided a meal
👨‍👩‍👧 Children of all ages are also welcome to remain with their parent or caregiver during the program

Whether you’re a new mom, a seasoned mom, or simply someone who cares about supporting mothers, we hope you’ll join us. 💛

Parents of current or prospective NVUSD students: please take a moment to complete the district calendar survey and share your input on start/end dates, Thanksgiving and Winter Break length, and other school-year priorities. Students are required to attend school 180 days each year.

You can access the survey through your ParentSquare app. The survey closes Friday, May 29. Make your vote count!

NVUSD plans to develop a three year District Calendar. Take this survey to provide NVUSD with input about the District Calendar, including start/end dates, length of school breaks such as Thanksgiving and Winter Break and other priorities.
