Meet our Operations Manager, Nancy Kacupaj! 👋

Nancy Kacupaj brings a versatile background in operational leadership, program management, and financial analysis. A Babson College graduate, she began her career in corporate finance at The TJX Companies. Discovering her true passions, Nancy focuses on applying her skillset toward meaningful, community-focused work.

Her connection to Nantucket deepened as a program leader at Murray Camp, where she developed and led youth initiatives supporting local children and families. She also gained experience with Rafanelli Events in organizing nonprofit fundraising events in Boston focused on low-income youth programs.

Nancy continues to volunteer her time with various organizations supporting children, including those with disabilities. This combination of leadership in childcare, support for nonprofit fundraising events, and analytical expertise made her a natural fit for her role as Operations Manager for the Community Foundation.

Save the Date! 📣 The Nantucket Fund Grant Recipient Award ceremony will be taking place on Tuesday, July 7.

We are so excited to bring so many amazing organizations together as we provide grants to local programs that cultivate positive impact and improve the quality of life for people in the Nantucket community.

With Childcare costs exceeding $20,000 annually here on island, CFN is on a mission to help provide support to working families in our community. 👏

Meet Tandi Harimon, our Grants & Scholarships Administrator! 👋

Tandi moved to Nantucket from Nebraska on a Sunday in 2004, and by Wednesday, she had begun her career at Cyrus Peirce Middle School—quickly making the island her home. Over the next 19 years, she dedicated herself to supporting Nantucket’s children and families through a variety of professional roles and volunteer commitments.

Tandi joined the Community Foundation for Nantucket in 2023, continuing her dedication to supporting the island and the people who call it home. She deeply values and appreciates all that the Nantucket community does to support its students, and she is continually inspired by the vital work of the many nonprofits serving the island.
