The stewardship of its governing board provides continuing maintenance and preservation of a building that more than any other connects Nantucket to its nineteenth-century past, while enthusiastically looking forward to its third century.

"This building is a sight from the harbor and sight from Main Street that always stays with you," says David Barham, in this short video.

Preserving the South Church is an ongoing process that requires the skills and expertise of so many. The building is an important beacon on the Nantucket skyline, its gold dome welcoming all to the island.

We hope you will join us in our work to preserve the South Church, used by many congregations and community groups. You can make a donation online, anytime: https://www.southchurchpreservationfund.org/donate
