We support veterans, youth, families, and local needs while promoting fellowship and service. Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building, golf course or pool. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.

While cleaning out the basement of our absent member Bill Judd’s home, a special piece of our Lodge history was discovered — this beautiful veterans banner from Murrells Inlet Elks Lodge #2797.

Thanks to the kindness and thoughtfulness of the gentleman who found it, the banner was returned to our Veterans Committee where it belongs. 🇺🇸

“So long as there are veterans, the Elks will never forget them.” Those words continue to remind us of the commitment our Lodge has to honoring and supporting those who served our country.

A heartfelt thank you for helping preserve this meaningful part of our Lodge history and returning it home where it can continue to inspire others. ❤️🤍💙

The Murrells Inlet Elks Lodge #2797 is incredibly proud to recognize and honor 19 outstanding Girl Scouts from across the great state of South Carolina who have achieved the prestigious **Girl Scout Gold Award** this year! 🏅✨
The Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, representing dynamic leadership, dedication, and sustainable change in our communities. Each of these young women tackled exceptional projects, with several also receiving well-deserved scholarships for their remarkable efforts. 📚💪
To celebrate their incredible milestones, the Murrells Inlet Elks Lodge is presenting each recipient with an official **Elks Certificate of Achievement** and a **U.S. Flag** in honor of their hard work and commitment to service. 🇺🇸📜
