Our original home was The Island Beach Club located in Litchfield Beach, SC, which later became Mingo Moes. Our home is now at the VFW in Murrells Inlet, SC, where we meet and dance to the music of great DJ's every Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. We love to have members of other s**g clubs come dance with us on Saturday nights. Our logo is "Come S**g With Us." The SSSC is a member of the Association
of Carolina S**g Clubs (ACSC) and is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Carolina beach music and the S**g, South Carolina's state dance. We hold quarterly parties and host a fantastic New Year's Eve party. Several of our members are members of the ACSC S**ggers Hall of Fame, one was honored with the Living Legend award, and our membership also includes winners of the National S**g Dance Competitions. For the most part though, we are just a bunch of people who love to s**g and have a good time. We believe in giving back to the community. We contribute to several local charities. We also give s**g dance demonstrations at local events. We average about 300 members annually and we are still growing.
