On Friday, June 12, members of the North Myrtle Beach Fire Department attended the 2026 Annual South Carolina Fire-Rescue Conference Award Ceremony in which our Department received the 2025 Fire Safe South Carolina Community Designation Certificate of Recognition.

Our Department is proud to be recognized as a Fire Safe Community by Fire Safe SC and the South Carolina State Firefighters' Association.

This designation would not be possible without the dedicated efforts of the Fire Marshal’s Office, the Community Risk Reduction Program, and Operational Staff working together to uphold the highest standards of fire safety.

The North Myrtle Beach Fire Department remains committed to protecting lives and property through continued education, prevention, and community engagement.
