A new CCO certification is coming in January 2027. 🏗️

The Evaluator of Crane Operator certification will give employers a standardized pathway to ensure operator evaluations are conducted by certified individuals. The program establishes a national benchmark for those assessing crane operators. Ensuring competence, impartiality, and correct documentation.

CCO was proud to join industry leaders at the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) Crane & Rigging Workshop!

During the workshop, CCO Certification's CEO Thom Sicklesteel shared updates on several initiatives designed to support the crane and construction industry including CertConnect, new CCO certification programs launching soon and CraneSafe USA, LLC.

From giving employers a better way to track and monitor employee certifications through CertConnect, to creating a standardized approach to crane inspections through CraneSafe USA, CCO continues to expand the tools, programs and resources available to the industry!
