Good morning Brothers and Sisters,

We will be voting for our bargaining committee Thursday May 7 and Friday May 8th. We will be voting in both break rooms. I will post this today on our boards and in both break rooms.

You will vote for 2 from production and 1 from processing. Maintenance will vote for their own as we our in two groups plant/maintenance. Maintenance can only vote for maintenance and not for processing or production.

If you have any questions let myself or a steward know. Thank you all for what you all do!

Good morning Brothers and Sisters,

I will be posting this in both break rooms so everyone knows how to contact all of your Union representatives. Thought I would share on here as well. If you need anything please feel free to contact any of us for anything you might need.

I would also like to thank everyone for their calls, texts, and especially the support for me while I was out on surgery leave. It meant more than you could ever know! I would also like to thank the Stewards for continuing their jobs while not only me being out but Danny as well.

I am still catching up. I am currently setting up grievance meetings as well as catching up with all other members questions. I am currently working on voting for our bargaining committee and setting up a vote. As soon as I can get a date I will let you all know.

I ask you all to be patient with us as we transition our new stewards in their roles. They will be having classes next week as I have also had a class with them as well. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Good evening Brothers and Sisters,

Just want to update you all on some of the grievances we currently have open. These are what we are working on. Some have been in the works for a while the holidays made it even longer.

I have a member’s grievance in Step 3 on their write up for a long break.Currently the company is standing behind two of our members telling their supervisor they took a long break. Please know when this happens i can’t argue against our own members.

I have a member’s grievance in Step 3 for being forced when aerosol had changed machines and wasn't trained on it.

I have a grievance for a member for being counciled on something we had mention on the bottle lines not working.

Step 3 A member’s Grievance for using unqualified operator for his job. Company still saying they didn’t do anything wrong cause all the did was dump totes which they say falls under other duties in our job description.

I have just received 3 grievances for write ups and currently waiting on company responses. So when I receive that I will let the steward know and get back with the members who filed them.

I also have a grievance for a member being forced wrong during the holidays that I am waiting on response as well.

I am also currently working with the “management team” on the use of Utility and how they need to be trained. This is an ongoing issue for years that members have been asking us about regularly. As well as the grid. How management needs to update their qualifying as members train and qualify.

We have several members waiting to be moved to their bid jobs and need to be moved. I know you are all working hard and not being rewarded with your contractual rights. This is my main concern going forward to make you all whole. I promise this fight is ongoing.
