Happy Father’s Day!

Today we give thanks for fathers, grandfathers, priests, mentors, and all the men who reflect God’s fatherly love through their generosity, guidance, and sacrifice.

In a world that needs strong families and faithful leadership, we are grateful for the men who answer the call to protect, provide, and serve.

May St. Joseph inspire all fathers to lead with courage, humility, and unwavering faith.

Thank you, all fathers, for the difference you make every day.

The Knights of Columbus has always been more than an organization. It is a brotherhood rooted in faith, charity, unity, and fraternity. It is a place where Catholic men come together to serve our Church, support our community, strengthen our families, and grow in our faith.

As we begin this term, think about this simple thought. Leadership is not about titles or positions. It is about service. The best leaders are those who are willing to listen, willing to work, and willing to put the needs of others before their own. If we approach this year with that mindset, there is no limit to what our council can accomplish together.

Congratulations to all the men who were installed in tonight’s leadership ceremony.

This Easter, many dioceses in the United States and around the world reported a surge in the number of converts received into the Catholic Church. In his recent column for Columbia, Supreme Chaplain Archbishop William Lori, whose archdiocese welcomed more than 2,000 converts this year, reflects on this growing attraction to Catholicism, particularly among young people. “The reason is that at the heart of the Church is something real — indeed, ‘really real,’” he writes. “It is the person of Christ, made present by the Holy Spirit.”
