📣 Become a CASA Volunteer Advocate in 2026! 📣
As part of our 26 in 26 Campaign, CASA of Jefferson County is on a mission to recruit 26 new Volunteer Advocates in 2026 so that every child in foster care who needs a CASA can have one.
Right now, there are children in Jefferson County who are navigating the foster care system without the support of a dedicated advocate. You can help change that.
Our new Hybrid Volunteer Training Program makes it easier than ever to get involved! Training includes a combination of in-person instruction and guided independent learning.
🗓 In-Person Training Dates:
• Tuesday, July 14 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday, July 18 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday, July 23 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Before training begins, all prospective volunteers must complete an application, interview, and registration process.
CASA volunteers are everyday people who do extraordinary things by speaking up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. You don't need a background in social work or law, just a heart for children and a commitment to making a difference.
