The mission of CASA of Jefferson County is to draw from community resources to provide well trained volunteers who will advocate in our court system for abused and neglected children, provide needed information to the court and serve these children's best interest quickly. CASA of Jefferson County is a member in good standing with National CASA Association and Illinois CASA.

🎃 WAIT…CHRISTMAS?! 🎄

We know. We know. It’s October 1st. You’re still deciding what your kids are going to be for Halloween, and Thanksgiving hasn’t even made it onto the calendar yet.

But over at CASA… the elves are already hard at work! 🎅

We’re getting an early start on our CASA Night Before Christmas Bags because we want to make sure our kiddos get a little extra Christmas magic during their December visits with their advocates. ❤️

📋 FOSTER PARENTS:
Keep an eye on your inbox! A Google Form is coming today to gather information for your child’s Night Before Christmas Bag. We want to make sure we fill those bags with things your kiddos will actually enjoy!

🎄 NEXT UP: THE ANGEL TREE! 🎄

Our CASA Angel Tree will be loaded with tags on November 2nd!

And here’s the part that makes us sound like the Christmas Grinch… 😂

🎁 Gifts and requested items need to be back to the CASA office by NOVEMBER 23rd.

We promise we’re not trying to rush Christmas! 😅

We need everything ready to go by December 1st so our advocates can pick up the bags and deliver them to their kiddos during their December visits.

And these bags aren't just about presents. 🎁❤️

Along with some fun goodies, we include family Christmas experiences, giving our kiddos opportunities to make memories, spend time together, and experience some of the simple joys and traditions that make Christmas special.

🚗💙 Can You Help Local Children Get One Step Closer to Home?

Sometimes, something as simple as a car seat can make a big difference in a child's journey toward reunification with their family.

Right now, CASA of Jefferson County is looking for donations of:
• A forward-facing 5-point harness car seat
• A high-back booster seat

These seats will help ensure a parent has the proper safety equipment needed for transportation as they work toward reunification with their children.

If you have a new or gently used, unexpired car seat that meets current safety standards and would be willing to donate it, we would be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps remove one more barrier for a family working hard to be together again.
