🇺🇸 TWO DAYS AWAY — AND WE NEED YOUR HELP. 🇺🇸
Imagine being thousands of miles from home.
You miss your family. You miss your friends. You miss the little things you never thought you'd miss. And then one day, a box arrives.
Inside might be a box of crackers, some beef jerky, drink mix, a deck of cards or a ridiculous pair of socks. Nothing extravagant.
But that box says something much bigger: Someone back home remembered me. ❤️
That's what we're collecting for this Friday.
Our RISE. REMEMBER. SERVE. breakfast is just TWO DAYS AWAY, and we're asking our community to help us fill care packages for active-duty military members through Ministering Our Military.
You don't have to spend a lot. Stop by Dollar Tree and pick up one item. Bring two. Bring a bagful. Every single donation gets us closer to filling another box.
📦 WE NEED:
⭐ 6 oz. boxes of crackers
⭐ Beef jerky or beef sticks
⭐ Water flavor packets
⭐ Pocket-size Kleenex
⭐ Playing cards
⭐ Fun socks 🧦
Dollar Tree is the preferred store because their package sizes are just right for the care package boxes.

As Patriot Day approaches, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the incredible courage and sacrifice we witnessed. And we remember how our country came together to care for one another.
This is one small way we can keep that spirit alive.
Please help us send our service members more than a box of stuff.

BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! ⭐️

Tim Hall has dedicated his life to community, service, and family. Married to his wife since 1999, he served six years in the Texas Army National Guard (1995–2001) before embarking on a 19-year career in law enforcement. Having served as a Patrolman and Criminal Investigator, he now protects and supports local youth as a School Resource Officer for Union Grove ISD. Grounded in his faith at the Assembly of God church and his brotherhood as a Mason and Shriner, Tim is also deeply committed to supporting troops and communities through M.O.M., actively volunteering with their Care Package program since 2017.

September 11, 2001 is a day we will never forget.
We remember the lives that were lost. We remember the heroes who ran toward danger. And we remember how, in the days that followed, our country came together.
This September, we want to honor that spirit by serving others. ❤️🤍💙
On Friday, September 4 from 7–9 AM, join us for breakfast as we raise money and collect care package items for Ministering Our Military. These care packages will be sent to active-duty military members in November, giving them a little reminder that the folks back home are thinking about them.
