Huruma House Monthly financial support is temporarily provided by Huruma House to help meet the immediate needs like food, shelter, education and medical care.

Huruma House empowers Christian believers in East Africa to minister to the widows and orphans in their own communities by providing food, clothing, education, and medical care and by helping them grow in faith and discipleship. Huruma House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded to identify and support the efforts of East African believers who are already working selflessly to care for the many orphans and widows of their communities. Our primary mission, however, is to provide capital improvements such as mills, dairies, and vocational programs that empower the local believers to continue to care for their neighbors in need in Jesus' name without creating a permanent dependence on monthly foreign assistance. Our vision is to recreate this self-supporting model of orphan care throughout East Africa.
