As a teacher, Iโm used to the normal cycleโฆ teach the lesson, give the homework, and see who brings it back. ๐๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ธ ๐ ๐ฒ๐
๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐.
One of my students couldnโt come to class yesterday. Her friends told me she was very busy, so I assumed I would just see her the next day. About an hour after class ended, I heard a knock at the door. It was that student. At first I thought maybe she had come for a lesson. But that wasnโt why she was there.
She said, โ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ, ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฅ๐ข๐บ ๐ ๐ข๐ฎ ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ด๐บ. ๐โ๐ฎ ๐ด๐ฐ๐ณ๐ณ๐บ ๐ ๐ค๐ข๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ค๐ญ๐ข๐ด๐ด. ๐๐ถ๐ต ๐ ๐ค๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐จ๐ฆ๐ต ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฌ.โ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ต๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ?!
Mind you, these are free classes. Nothing is mandatory. There are no grades and no required tests. But none of that mattered to her. She simply didnโt want to miss the opportunity to learn. And yesโฆ she came back to class today with her completed homework in hand.
๐ ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐น๐ถ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ remind us how hungry many of these young women are. Not just for education, but for encouragement, relationships, and hope.
