Thomas Scott Nuchols, Sr. September 22, 1935-April 18, 2026

Tom was the team leader for Texas Ramp Project of Titus County for decades. He devoted many, many hours building ramps for those in our community in need of assistance. He was a blessing to everyone he met and his life is an inspiration for all of us.
We love you, Tom. You will be missed.

What a start to the year 2026! We've already been able to build 19 ramps which averages to about 1 ramp a week! Our team has been busy. We've covered folks across two counties (Titus and Franklin) giving them much needed access to their homes.

End of Year Report! We're very excited to let you all know that we've had a productive year building ramps for our friends and neighbors in Titus and Franklin Counties (and even a few in Morris County!). We reached a new record for 2025 with a total of 42 ramps completed or repaired for the year. This was a great accomplishment as we also celebrated the 40-year anniversary of the Texas Ramp Project.
Our year can be summarized with 1183 linear feet of ramps built at a material cost of $ 19,954.48. All of the labor amounts to 887 volunteer hours. We owe a debt of gratitude to our volunteers who give selflessly of their time and energy. The reward is watching our new friends as they walk up and down their ramps gaining access to and from their homes.
If you can find it in your heart to make a donation to our cause, please visit Texas Ramp Project at texasramps.org You will see a big red button allowing you to donate online. Please indicated your donation is for use in Titus County (or Franklin County) and our team will continue to work in 2026 bringing freedom and accessibility to our neighbors in need.
God Bless you all! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

2025 MID-Year Report- The first half of 2025 has been busy! Our Titus County Team has completed 23 Ramps as of July 31st. Ramps have been built in Mount Pleasant, Talco, Mount Vernon, Scroggins, and Pittsburg as we have tried to help our friends and neighbors with access to their homes. Our totals so far for the year include 675 feet of ramps, 520 volunteer hours and a cost of $11,847 in materials. If you have the means to provide us with support by either volunteering to work with us or providing financial support, we would greatly appreciate anything you can do! Go the the Texas Ramp Project at texasramps.org and read more about what we are doing. Any financial donation you can provide can be designated specifically for your county and 100% would be used for purchasing materials.
We are also seeking volunteers in Franklin County who would be available to help build. The work is fun and rewarding... of the 23 ramps our team has completed, 7 have been in Franklin county so the need is urgent.
God uses ALL hands...both BIG and small!
