We had a fabulous time on Friday at the 2026 Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging Senior Spring Extravaganza in Mansfield!

Our friends John, Marilyn, Ellen, Scott, Garrett, and Wayne enjoyed their day at the Mardi Gras Masquerade, held at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center in Mansfield. Thanks to our outstanding direct support professionals Linda Frazier and Walter Quillman for taking the group to this event.

A big thank to our friends and community partners at the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging for providing this event. Our friends at District 5 serve folks who live in Ashland, Crawford, Huron, Knox, Marion, Morrow, Richland, Seneca, and Wyandot counties.

We had a wonderful time today at the Memory Lane Auto Museum in Galion.

Our friends Red, Alex, Luke, Jason, Wyatt, and Kyle enjoyed touring the museum and seeing all the classic automobiles. In addition to automobiles, the museum features vintage toys, lunchboxes, unique collectible items, classic movie memorabilia, super hero-themed items, and more. It’s a favorite destination for many of our friends.

Curator Jim Hedges is always so kind and hospitable when we tour Memory Lane Auto Museum. Thank you, Jim, for hosting us once again.

And thanks to our wonderful direct support professionals Danielle Stepp and Jason Warwick for organizing this field trip for the guys.

With summer coming, our friends at MARCA at Whetstone in Mount Gilead had fun on Friday learning about bugs and the good things they do for environment.

Our friend and community partner Joy Etter-Link brought in all the supplies and directed the activity. She is a program assistant and member of the advisory board at the Crawford Park District. Joy is the niece of our friend Wayne.

We extend of hearty thank you to Joy for providing this wonderful learning experience for our friends.

Our friends Eric, Penny, Kyle, and Lilli had the opportunity to visit and tour the Anthony-Thomas Candy Company’s Factory Shoppe in Columbus on Thursday.

They had a great time seeing how the different types of candy are made. Thanks to our friends and community partners at Anthony-Thomas Candy Company for their kindness and hospitality.

Our friends Alex and Tyler enjoyed the fruit of their labor on Wednesday at the Marion Family YMCA.

Alex and Tyler compete in Special Olympics Ohio events and receive free YMCA memberships for their hard work in sports activities. They enjoy exercising and appreciate the support from our friends and community partners at the YMCA.
