As a proud member of Sister Cities International since 1990, MDSCA has worked to educate people on the history & culture of Scotland and promote person to person connections with our twinned city of Forres, Moray in the Scottish Highlands.

We had a wonderful time serving up soup at !

made a delicious Cullen Skink again this year in honor of our Sister City connection, and Association members Laura and dressed up like our friends across the pond at .

There’s no way of proving it, but we think ours was every bit as good as any Cullen Skink you’ll try on your next visit to Scotland!

Big thanks to MDSCA members Cathy, Jack, and Violet who represented us at last night’s City of Mount Dora Trunk-or-Treat at the new Nathaniel Bell Center!

It was a beautiful evening and several of our younger members showed up as well!

Huge thank you to long-time Supporting Member Business Magical Meat Boutique for the royal treatment at yesterday’s Last-Tuesday-Lunch!

Thank you as well to the 30+ of you who put your work days on hold and came out to connect!

Gotta love our !

Besides bringing the sound of the Highlands to Mount Dora every month at Plaid-in-the-Park, they’re also the ones responsible for helping to bring the Mount Dorans TO the Highlands!

Big thanks to everyone who joined us and our gracious hosts:

Lakeside Inn, Mount Dora pulled out all the stops, ordering in perfect weather for our Sunset Happy Hour on the lake… and the drinks were on point too! 🥃

Little Something Different saved us their whole indoor space for Last-Tuesday-Lunch, and then spoiled us rotten with their usual impeccable service and delicious, homemade food. 🥗
