Mount Dora Friends of the Environment Non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to protecting, restoring and enhancing the environment and tree canopy of Mount Dora.

We plant, water and care for trees, enhancing the beauty, health and sustainability of our city. Since 1994, Mount Dora Friends of the Environment has been committed to preserving, protecting and promoting nature-based resources in our area to further enhance the natural beauty of our City by planting trees. We are dedicated to protecting and preserving the environment through education and commun

ity outreach. Trees provide ecological, economic and quality of life benefits - protecting air and water quality, reducing energy costs, increasing property values and beautifying neighborhoods and highways. Our Donate A Tree Program offers you a special and lasting way to celebrate and honor loved ones, friends, and events that have touched your life. Thanks to a generous $50,000 challenge grant from the Mount Dora Community Trust (MDCT), from May 2nd- May 9th only, every dollar you donate will be matched - dollar for dollar, up to $50,000.
