Our mission is to feed the body, educate the mind and lift the spirit of all individuals. We distribute food by appointment to our clients, serving Seniors and those with disabilities on Wednesdays; on Saturdays we serve the general public.

Sending our heartfelt thanks to the Lake County Transit Services for hosting another successful "Stuff the Bus" Food Drive. This year marks 20 years to hold this impactful event to help our community in need. Also, thanks to all the many generous participants for donating 1,650 pounds of food and $560.00. Our appreciation also to Publix at Loch Leven for the use of their site and their ongoing support of Lake Cares.

Your donated bags help us pack and distribute groceries to our neighbors in need throughout Lake County. Every bag makes a difference! ❤️

We are beyond grateful for their incredible $25,000 investment in Lake Cares Food Pantry and our mission to fight food insecurity throughout Lake County! 🥫❤️

This generous support will help us continue providing hope, nourishment, and essential resources to local children and families through our Backpack program which helps provide weekend meals to more than 350 students each week!

At Lake Cares, we believe in feeding the body, educating the mind, and lifting the spirits of those we serve. Thanks to amazing community partners like Publix Super Market Charities, we can continue turning that mission into meaningful impact! 💙
