This recently completed mural was painted by the talented Neysa Millán and proudly displayed on our pantry wall. We are grateful to the talented artist for capturing our mission so beautifully and to Kim Y. Stewart Legacy Fund for funding this amazing project.

We’re excited to welcome the beautiful new ALDI store to Eustis this week! 🎉

Through our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank and its Grocery Store Alliance program, Lake Cares Food Pantry is grateful to partner with this new location. Not only will ALDI provide another convenient shopping option for local families, but its support will also help Lake Cares continue providing food and hope to neighbors facing hunger.

We are thankful for partnerships like this that strengthen our community and help ensure good food reaches the families who need it most. Welcome to Eustis, ALDI! 💙

A huge thank you to Star Distribution for connecting us with Jove Water Company and making this incredible blessing possible! 💧

Because of this amazing partnership, Lake Cares Food Pantry received a donation of 45 pallets of water, delivered on two semi-truck loads, totaling an incredible 69,592 pounds!

This generous donation has allowed us to not only provide for our neighbors in need but also share this blessing with other food pantries throughout our area. When our community comes together, the impact reaches so much further.

We are beyond grateful for organizations that believe in caring for others and helping strengthen our community. Thank you, Star Distribution for delivering all of this water and Jove Water Company for supplying it. Your generosity is such a blessing, we are grateful for you both helping us continue to serve those who need it most. 💙💧

Registration is now open to attend EMPTY BOWLS 2026! Last year's event sold out so be sure to go online to LakeCares.org and register early for this fun and lively event. Hosted by , the evening features delicious signature soups from the best local restaurants, great entertainment with live music, and so much more! All proceeds are used to benefit Lake Cares Food Pantry.

A big thank you to our Golden Triangle Kiwanis food distribution team—Rachel, Jason, Summer, Emily, Mary, Paul, Kris, Michael, Jack, and Camille—for volunteering at the Lake Cares food distribution center in Tavares on August 1. Despite the summer heat, this dedicated team spent two hours packing and distributing food to families in need. Their willingness to serve and make a difference is a wonderful example of Kiwanis in action.
