Thank you so much to Becky and Terry Fields and the Mandarin Church of Christ for providing shoes to the children and families at Mount Dora Children’s Home in honor of Rayna Moore. Your generosity and kindness make a difference every year!
Rayna Moore was a devoted respiratory therapist from Pontotoc, Mississippi, who chose courage over fear when the pandemic struck. Instead of staying home, Rayna stood by her coworkers and cared for patients despite the risks. After 13 years of serving others with her compassionate heart and radiant smile, Rayna tragically lost her life to COVID-19 in 2020.
Rayna loved the beach, her family, and—most of all—shoes. She was known for giving shoes to anyone in need, sometimes even offering the pair off her own feet. To honor her beautiful spirit, Rayna’s family launched Rayna’s Shoes in 2021 to spread kindness, one pair at a time.

Our Thompson House residents and Single-Parent Program families had a spidey-good time last night, swinging into the theaters to see Spider-Man: Brand New Day! 🕷️🕸️

From laughter and excitement to sharing popcorn and making memories together, it was a night our families won't soon forget. Moments like these remind us that sometimes the greatest adventures happen when we're simply spending time together. ❤️🍿
