It is EASTER VACATION WEEK, or as we call it here, "Holy Week". Since April is normally the hottest month of the year, the swimming pools come out and lots and lots of games involving water balloons, sprinklers and all kinds of relay races and challenges. There are teams with all the staff participating too!
This year, we also had a trip to a rabbit farm where the kids got to feed and hold the rabbits.

Los Encinos Parque Ecológicos - what a wonderful excursion we had! We kicked it off with a hike and wrapped up with lunch and a lot of fun on their playground!

We love that our kids get to be kids! They love being outside and especially enjoy when we explore outside the gates of HOME!

FARM FUN!!! 🥳 We kicked off the week with a trip to the farm. The kids are basically expert animal caretakers now (don’t worry, we’re keeping the cow at the farm! 😉). 🦆 🐄 🐴 🐕 🐓 🐖

In Guatemala, Día del Niño (Children’s Day) is celebrated every October 1st. The day was established to promote the well-being and rights of children in the country, with its roots tracing back to the global push for child rights awareness, particularly following the UN’s efforts. Today, it’s a day full of joy, gifts, and special attention dedicated to the children who represent the future of Guatemala!
