We need gently used furniture and jewelry donations at the Hospice Hope Chest! Please message us here or email us at [email protected]. We will need photos of furniture, name, phone number and address of pick-up location to determine if we can accept it and to schedule it. Our phone service is still out (working on fix/replacement). Jewelry items can be dropped off at the Hope Chest during business hours (Tue-Thur 10am-4pm, Fri-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 1-5pm). THANK YOU ❤️

We had a lovely luncheon yesterday for our members and guests, with a Fall / Halloween theme, a delicious meal (including yummy apple crisp from Eden Abbey), and raffle prizes!

The Atlantic City Boys are bringing the music of the Jersey Boys to Mount Dora!

Get ready for an afternoon of classic hits, incredible harmonies, and high-energy entertainment when The Atlantic City Boys take the stage at the Mount Dora Music Hall on November 22.

Presented by Ralph & Janet Nazario, Hillcrest Insurance, and Kim Y Stewart Legacy with Women For Hospice, the show will also feature refreshments from Magical Meat Boutique, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle.

Our Hospice Hope Chest upscale resale shop will be open from 9am - 5pm on Oct 24th and 10am - 5pm on Oct 25th in support of the Mount Dora Craft Fair. We will have an outside booth for crafts and holiday decor - visit us inside too!

There’s a sweeter way to explore Mount Dora this weekend.

On Sunday, October 11, the Mount Dora Ice Cream Stroll and Pup Walk - Fall '26 returns to downtown Mount Dora, transforming the historic lakeside town into an open-air ice cream tasting adventure, with 27 stops at local boutiques, restaurants and businesses.

Along the way, visitors can sample flavors ranging from Bourbon Butter Pecan and Biscoff to Piña Colada and Pumpkin Spice Pie, with local favorites like Scoops on 5th, Waffles & Cream and Mystic Ice Cream joining the festivities.

And this is one outing where dogs aren't just welcome. They're part of the experience. Earl’s Bakehouse and Piglets Pantry - Dog Bakery will have special treats for four-legged guests, while PopUp Play Company makes its official Mount Dora debut with a mobile golf simulator.

The event drew more than 550 attendees and sold out this spring. Its fall return, sponsored by VyStar Credit Union, offers another opportunity to discover the independent businesses, local flavors and small-town character that make Mount Dora such a distinctive Central Florida day trip.

Planning your visit: The Ice Cream Stroll & Pup Walk takes place Sunday, October 11, from 2–4 PM in downtown Mount Dora. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children under 12, with ice cream tastings included. The event takes place rain or shine.
