Help assist with summer program days, ranging from being a tail rider on an adaptive mountain bike day to an extra set of eyes out on the water. Every great instructor starts somewhere, and for many at the Adaptive Sports Center, that journey begins as a volunteer.

For Sophie, it started with a simple observation. “Every time I skied by, I couldn’t help but notice big smiles and a sense of empowerment,” she shared. Through the Volunteer-to-Instructor (VTI) program, Sophie not only built technical skills but also found a connection.
