Crested Butte School of Dance The School of Dance is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to professional dance instruction for people of all ages in Crested Butte.

We believe Dance is for Everyone! Crested Butte School of Dance is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing many opportunities to be involved in dance and the arts. We create a nurturing environment for our littlest stars and intensive instruction for serious students, making SOD the principle dance academy of Crested Butte. lective! No matter what age or level of experience, the Crested Butte School of Dance can offer a fun and creative experience. We provide a wide variety of classes from pre-ballet for toddlers to belly dancing intensives for teens and adults. CBSD has been involved in the Crested Butte theater and arts community for more than 25 years. Our staff and dancers have participated in the choreography of theatrical shows and have designed mentoring programs. CBSD has hosted Dansummer, the School’s premier summer workshop and performance for over 25 years. We offer group classes, workshops, intensives and a variety of annual performances featuring students and staff members.

Shows are May 8-10th at the Center for the Arts and feature dancers from 3 years old to 18! We are seeking a vibrant, family friendly image that celebrates spring, movement and Crested Butte! CBSOD invites local artists of all ages to submit their design for the 2026 youth spring performance “Spring into Dance!” We seek designs that are vibrant, family friendly and celebrate dance and springtime in Crested Butte!

Please email [email protected] with your design by March 17th! Winner will be notified on March 18th. Prizes from local partners to be announced!

Please leave space in your final design for the below information. We will work with the artist to provide the final information once the final design is accepted.
