Thank You, Moscow Mills — The 2026 Harvest Festival
The 2026 Harvest Festival has come to a close, and Moscow Mills Parks, Inc. would like to express our sincere appreciation to the businesses, organizations, volunteers, families, and community members who helped bring this event to life.
We extend a special thank-you to our Foundation Sponsors, whose support played an important role in making the festival possible.
Peoples Bank & Trust (PB&T) supported the Harvest Festival as a Foundation Sponsor and went a step further by bringing its mobile ATM to the event. Having convenient access to cash provided an additional service for festival visitors while supporting our vendors and food trucks throughout the day. We greatly appreciate PB&T's investment in the event and the Moscow Mills community.
Certified Performance & Auto Repair also supported the Harvest Festival as a Foundation Sponsor, and MMPI was proud to partner with them in support of their annual Fill the Truck Food Drive benefiting the Moscow Mills UMC Food Pantry. The Harvest Festival provided an additional opportunity for our community to contribute nonperishable food items to this established local effort.
A special thank-you goes to Cub Scout Pack 389, whose members provided nonperishable food donations and helped support the Fill the Truck effort. Seeing the truck fill with food was a meaningful reminder that a community event can accomplish more than simply provide a day of entertainment—it can also provide an opportunity for neighbors to help neighbors.
We are also grateful to Sandy Glass with Farm Bureau Insurance. Sandy assisted MMPI with obtaining the event insurance needed for the Harvest Festival, and Farm Bureau also supported MMPI as a sponsor. Much of what makes an event possible happens long before the public arrives, and we appreciate Sandy's assistance with this important behind-the-scenes responsibility.
A special shout-out also goes to Matt Zeiss — HeySingerGuy for providing live music and entertainment throughout the festival. Matt helped create the atmosphere for the day and gave our visitors something to enjoy while exploring the festival, visiting vendors, grabbing something to eat, and spending time together. Thank you, Matt, for sharing your talent with the Moscow Mills community and being part of the 2026 Harvest Festival.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to Moscow Mills Mayor, Lisa Meyer for her support and involvement in the Harvest Festival and for taking the time to be part of a day centered on our community.
We also want to extend a special thank-you to the first responders who joined us at the Harvest Festival: the Moscow Mills Police Department, Lincoln County Ambulance District, and Lincoln County Fire Protection District #1.
Their participation went beyond simply being present for the event. Members of these agencies spent time visiting with our vendors and festival guests, showing off their equipment, answering questions, and giving visitors an up-close look at their emergency vehicles. Those interactions gave families and community members an opportunity to meet some of the people who serve our community and learn more about the equipment they use to do their jobs.
We sincerely appreciate these first responders for spending part of their day with us and for helping make the Harvest Festival an engaging and welcoming community event. Thank you for your service to Moscow Mills and the surrounding community, and for being part of the 2026 Harvest Festival.
To all of our vendors and food trucks—thank you. You brought your businesses, products, food, creativity, and personalities to the festival. We appreciate you choosing to spend the day with us, and we hope our community showed you the same support that you showed Moscow Mills by participating.
We also want to recognize the people whose contributions may never appear in a photograph.
To the volunteers, MMPI Board members, spouses, family members, friends, and everyone who worked behind the scenes—thank you.
Events like this are built through countless individual acts: months of planning, phone calls and emails, paperwork, coordinating vendors, moving equipment, setting up, answering questions, taking photographs, directing visitors, solving unexpected problems, cleaning up, tearing down, and simply stepping forward when something needed to be done.
Some of that work began months before the first vendor arrived. Some continued after the last visitor left. Much of it happened quietly and without recognition.
Every bit of it mattered.
And finally, to everyone who came to the Harvest Festival—thank you for showing up for your community.
Whether you supported a local vendor, bought something from a food truck, enjoyed the entertainment, donated food, visited a booth, volunteered, brought your children, caught up with a neighbor, or simply walked around and enjoyed the day, you were part of what brought the Harvest Festival to life.
As we look back at the photographs and memories from the day, we see more than tents, trucks and booths. We see businesses supporting their community, volunteers giving their time, organizations working together, families enjoying the day, and neighbors helping neighbors.
The Harvest Festival may be over, but the work of Moscow Mills Parks, Inc. continues. We look forward to carrying the relationships, community involvement, and momentum generated by this event into the work ahead.
