All trainings are up and starting Monday night and going through the end of November. Childcare and dinner provided. Registration is required. Go to divinenest.com or to our NorthRoad church web page and register that way!

These are specialized trainings this go around. Anywhere from behavioral techniques, RAD, or FASD to cultural diversity and learning how to physically care for a child of a different race (braids, products, etc..) … we are excited to be partnering with mental health liaisons, NICU nurses, and resources in our community who KNOW what you may need to know 😉♥️

Back to School Bash was a HUGE success!!! However, absolutely nothing compares to the time spent praying over everything an hour before we opened. Thank you to every volunteer, NorthRoad staff members, DN executive board, and of course all you foster, adoptive, guardianship, and kinship families for coming!!! We have more in store…. Can’t wait to make the announcements!!! But… not just yet 😜

I am sharing this again due to some miscommunication and misconceptions. YES, this is an event that was scheduled on an already established “Respite Night”. Unfortunately, we were unable to find another evening that would work for the Back to School Bash so the executive board and I (Jamie Drye), made the decision to proceed with the Back to School Bash. It is vital that we provide as much help as possible to all of our families. The fall Respite Night will continue as planned. We will start our trainings back up in September. Again, I apologize and am working diligently to fix the mistakes and mishaps.

What a beautiful night we had to honor our 1st Responders, military, fire, police, and mental health. We can’t wait to do this again next year!!! And the food…. A chef’s kiss 💋 Every responder was gifted with a devotional, lots of prizes, along with a beautiful Kendra Scott necklace to one of our sweet foster mommas and a genuine leather Faith stamped wallet to a young man who is active in the military (we think he looks like Clark Kent). Thank you again to everyone who attended, prizes donated for drawings, and the host of volunteers who set up, tore down, cooked, and served. Divine Nest LOVES you all.

First Responders… Police (Police, Corrections, Juvenile Officers, RSO’s, Etc.), Fire, EMS (EMT, Life Flight, Doctors, Nurses), Mental Health (Therapists, Counselors, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, School mental health personnel), Active Military for ALL branches. FREE DINNER. Must register!!! We WANT to show you our appreciation!
