Use this linked form to request a bag. Omwana's Village is a non profit, clothing closet serving Lincoln and Pike County. When a foster family says "Yes" to bringing a child into their home it is a whirlwind of emotions and activity. It can be overwhelming! Our goal is to make that transition a little easier. We are hoping to be able to pro

vide some new and gently used (Clean!) clothing, shoes and other necessities that a child needs, for FREE. I have had so many of you reach out and ask what they can do to help...Now is your time to shine! We are accepting donations of new and gently used baby and kids clothing and accessories. We do have a 501c3, so any tangible or monetary contributions you wish to donate will be tax deductible! Just let one of us know if you have donations and we will get with you to coordinate a time to pick up or meet with you! We are SO excited to be able to help, not only in this way, but we are hopeful that this organization will be able to offer the emotional and physical support that foster families so desperately need! We are hoping for one of us to be able to reach out not only when a child comes into care, but also when a family member related to a child, steps in as a kinship placement and ALSO if there is a family that is struggling, to be able to keep that disruption from even happening in the first place! Spread the word!! If you hear of a child that is in need, reach out to us! We are here to help! If we don't have what is needed, we will do whatever we can to help find it! Watch for future announcements! We have some pretty cool fundraising events in the works too! We are so excited to be a central port for our community to connect and help the ones who need it most! At Omwana’s Village, we are currently running low on several essential clothing items for children in foster, kinship, and adoptive families.

We are especially in need of:

👦 Boys Underwear
▫️ Sizes 6 & 7

☀️ Boys Summer Clothing
▫️ Sizes 18 months & 24 months

🌙 Boys Pajamas
▫️ Size 12 months and 18 months

👧 Girls Pajamas
▫️ Sizes 6–7

Every donation helps ensure that children have clean, comfortable clothing and pajamas of their own. These simple necessities make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve.
