They built three brand-new Little Free Libraries to replace some of our original units, and youโ€™ll see them later this summer at the same spots in Springville, Lawton, and Thompson โ€” thanks to C2G for assisting us in funding this project! School nurses screen with the Spotยฎ Vision Screener, and licensed optometrists bring exams and frame choices into schools so students receive glasses within two weeks. Will you help? Huge thanks to the Susquehanna County Library for delivering our 281 Literacy Kits to graduating Pre-K students during their monthly preschool visits! Our Summer Literacy Kits are packed with playful, hands-on materials to keep kids learning over the summer and combat the "summer slide" โ€” the learning loss many children experience during long breaks. Without regular practice, children can lose reading and math skills, see their confidence dip, and fall further behind peers with more resources. Special thanks to Mary Beth โ€” we wish her a wonderful, well-deserved retirement!
