This past weekend the boys helped our local VFW replace the veterans flags on the cemeteries around town. Last night we retired all those flags plus some from other drop off locations. We also found a few that we could repurpose and kept those for distribution. A flag only needs to be retired when it's torn or faded. Some of these will fly another day.

Our first campout of the fall season and what a busy weekend we had. We started off Friday night with a good meal and of course man hunt. Saturday we went to a black smith shop and worked on some of our cycling merit badge requirements. They rode a total of 15 miles on 4 different trips. We ate good and had a great weekend.

Tonight the boys retired another large group of flags from our friends at the Ayers Stone VFW post 5642.
