Get a discount on a CSA share or farm stand credit! NOFA-VT’s Farm Share Program provides fresh, local foods to Vermonters in need of financial assistance by subsidizing the cost of CSA shares. CSAs (aka Community Supported Agriculture) connect people directly with farmers. When you sign up for a CSA, you receive a regular box of farm-fresh food and directly support a farmer.

Apply for a discount through the Farm Share Program, today through February 28th.

Thank you to Bronwyn Fryer for organizing "Songs for Sustenance" that took place at the Montpelier Performing Arts Hub on January 11th.

This event was a fundraiser for Just Basics/The Montpelier Food Pantry. It included stellar performances by a number of area musicians who played to a full house. A wonderful time was had by all.

⭐⭐No deliveries will be available this week. We will resume deliveries on Tuesday 1/6 ⭐⭐.

The Pantry is closed Tuesday 12/30 and Thursday 1/1.
We will open on Saturday 1/3 for in-person shopping at 79 Barre St.

Exciting news! The VtSHARES campaign has been extended to Friday November 14th! That means there will be another full week for State of Vermont employees to donate to local nonprofits.

Dear Friends and Neighbors

On October 31, I announced a $10,000 challenge match to benefit the Montpelier Food Pantry. I am pleased to announce that we have made the match receiving $30,600 in donations since the announcement! This money helps us to provide more food to households in need particularly during this time of uncertainty of basic food assistance.

Many others have put their energy into organizing food drives to make sure that no one is hungry. There are currently food drives in the College Street and Murray Hill neighborhoods, Main Street Middle School and one coming at the upcoming Holiday Capital City Farmer's Market.

I am moved by the generosity of our community and filled with gratitude.
