Second Nature follows trans evolutionary biologist Dr. Joan Roughgarden and a group of q***r, BIPOC, and immigrant scientists as they challenge long-held assumptions about s*x, gender, and behavior. Today! 5-6 pm, join us at Christ Church for a Montpelier Pride Concert with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra!

For Montpelier Pride, VSO’s Piano Wind Trio performs a free chamber music concert for oboe, bassoon & piano by Francis Poulenc, Julius Eastman, Caroline Shaw, and others. This Sunday at Christ Episcopal Church will see our musicians celebrate LGBTQ+ composers, as well as other underrepresented voices from across the musical canon.

The performance begins at 5pm on Sunday, May 31, and is free and open to the public. Pre-registration at vso.org/events is encouraged in order to reserve your spot, and donations are welcome at the event. This concert is supported by the Music Performance Trust Fund.
