We have new troupe members! After two years together as a troupe developing our artform and deepening in intimacy, in our third year, we are so pleased to welcome three new amazing people to Central Vermont Playback Theatre.

Lex Johnston, Molly Kaye, and petra gates auditioned for our troupe this Fall along with 4 other wonderful people. It feels like they have always been with us. Cheers to change and fresh faces!

Our friend and teacher Jennie Kristel is teaching a 3-hour skill-building Introduction to Playback Theatre in New Bedford, Massachusetts devoted to enhancing our creativity and play as we form a community of storytellers in action.

Join us for an afternoon of storytelling and witness for our show: What's Alive For You?... A Playback Theatre Show. We will be sourcing personal stories from you, our audience, and playing them back with movement, music, and metaphor to bring your stories to life. What's alive for you right now? We will spend the afternoon together and allow our stories to come forward and have a conversation with each other.

COVID protocol for this show: This is an indoor show and we're asking that everyone please wear a mask while inside (a kn95 or surgical mask if possible). We as performers will rapid test the day of our performance and be masked except when we are performing.

We are expecting an intimate group of around 40 people in the audience. There is limited space so please register with the ticket link to reserve a seat. We will close the ticket form when we have reached audience capacity.

We had such an amazing experience last weekend in playback practice for our show, Springing Forth: Melting & Growing.

Thank you to The Wheelhouse for having us. Your space held us so well. Our very first indoor performance! What a gift.

Thank you to all of you who attended our show. The connection and vulnerability felt in the room was deep and such an honor to witness. Thank you for sharing your stories and listening to each other. Thank you for trusting us.
