The first full day of the show is now over! But, it was an amazing day that started with a Rabbit Show followed by the Goat Show. Throughout the day, 4-Hers presented their projects to judges, and blue ribbons have started to appear!
A big thank you to State Senator Sally Turner, who visited the show today and stopped by the rabbit show to talk with 4-Hers about their projects. Each 4-Her enthusiastically told Senator Turner about their unique 4-H experience, and she was even given the opportunity to walk a pig.

It was a great day, and tomorrow kicks off with the swine show at 8 a.m. and the poultry show at 9!

We still need some judges for the upcoming 4-H Show. Don't worry if you aren't an "expert" in a program area, all we ask is that you listen to the 4-Her talk about their project and then provide some constructive feedback. It's that easy!
July 10-12 have open judging spots.

Titanic, Teambuilding, and Three Counties, OH MY!🛶

Our very own DeWitt County Community Clovers 4-H Club coordinated the Titanic Team Challenge for DeWitt, Macon and Piatt counties on May 30 at the 4-H Memorial Camp and Retreat Center, involving:
◾12 clubs
◾29 Cloverbuds
◾48 4-H members
◾120 guests and many memories!🍀

4-H members worked with their clubs to build 'sea-worthy' boats out of cardboard and duct tape that one team member could sit in and row across the lake successfully without sinking. Cloverbuds built and decorated small pirate ships, which they then raced through rain gutters using their own wind power.

A special THANKS to Farm Credit Illinois for providing lunch for all the participants and guests. Also, shout out to our DeWitt and Piatt county sheriffs for serving as volunteer judges!
◾First Place - Yeti Sr.
◾Most Enthusiastic Crew - Flamingo Torpedo Squad
◾1st to Sink - Titanic 2
◾Most Creative Boat - Pirate Monkeys
◾Most Dramatic Sink (Titanic Award)- The Floaters
