IMANI teamed up with the Montclair Fire Department (MFD) to help educate the public on fire safety 🧯 at Nishuane Park this weekend!

Fourth Ward Councilwoman Aminah Toler stopped by the IMANI booth to greet our Executive Director, Tawaina Turner-Dones, and Program Coordinator Evelyn Gay.

Special thanks to Justin Thompson, IMANI Board Member, Fire Official and Fire Prevention Lead of Montclair and Glenridge who helped organize the event and donated all of the children’s books given away to the youngest attendees on behalf of IMANI!!

Former IMANI student, now the Supervising Fire Inspector of MFD, Natasha Richardson was all smiles as she helped Fire Official Justin with a fire safety demonstration.

A beautiful day for the community!☀️
