Thank you to the incredibly talented percussionist .mohamed and singer/songwriter for bringing the joy of Arab music to with ! The crowd at Watchung Plaza enjoyed the energy of the darbuka, the depth and beauty of Arabic lyrics, and even learned dabke! Thank you to everyone who participated in this celebration of Arab American music!

Celebrating Arab American Heritage Month with rhythm! Middle School students explored Palestinian Dabka, a vibrant folk dance rooted in community and tradition. From Dabka to the Irish Riverdance, students experienced how communal line dances connect various cultures around the world - and enjoyed learning the dabka themselves! Thank you to for their amazing performances and for teaching our students and staff how to dabka! And a big thank you to Buzz Aldrin Middle School, and Glenfield Middle School () for your energy and enthusiasm celebrating AAHM!
