Only In Monroe, only on 4th of July weekend! 4 days of dog shows and much more! 2 All Breeds, 3 Group Shows, 34 Breed Specialties, 32 Supported Entries, and a National Specialty!!! And many special attractions too! Come join in the festivities July 2 - July 5.

We may not have Stephen Colbert to host, but we have Chris Nelson coming back as MC for groups and special attractions. We think it is the BEST way to spend the holiday weekend at a dog show!

Just 3 conformation classes left in our spring schedule. Take advantage of them to have your dogs ready for all the great summer shows in Michigan.

Instructors next week will be Sandy Francis, assisted by Val Stern, Wednesday, June 10 at 7 pm.

Classes are held at Ann Arbor Dog Training Club - AADTC's main building, 1575 E. North Territorial Rd, Whitmore Lake, MI. Cost is $10 for non-members, $5 for members.

You are cordially invited to the Ann Arbor Kennel Club general membership meeting this Wednesday, June 3 at 8 pm at the Ann Arbor Dog Training Club - AADTC's main building, 1575 E. North Territorial Road, Whitmore Lk, MI.

Come out and get to know this great group of people with a wide background of breeds and participation in the sport of purebred dogs. Our club is filled with supportive, welcoming members. We'd love to meet you!

Joining a kennel club is a great way to expand your circle of friends and find mentors to help you with handling, training, competing, breeding, selecting show or performance prospects, getting your judging license, and so much more. And learn the ropes of hosting shows and performance events, to give back to the sport. We hope you'll choose AAKC!

Class is back in session this week! Sandy Francis will be leading conformation class Wednesday, 5/20 at 7 pm at Ann Arbor Dog Training Club - AADTC's main building.

Address is 1575 E North Territorial Rd, Whitmore Lake, MI 48189.

That's a wrap! We have many people to thank for making the 2026 Mother's Day weekend agility trials a success:

To our great club partners, Ann Arbor Dog Training Club - AADTC and Fort Detroit German Wirehaired Pointer Club, we are grateful for the teamwork it takes to pull off these trials. To your members who worked throughout the weekend, you rock! We couldn't do this without you. 🤝

To our judge Cheryl Tyre, thank you for trekking all the way to Michigan for us. We appreciate your tireless commitment to keeping the trials running smoothly and providing every exhibitor a great experience 🫶

To our own members who were there to help, thank you for pitching in. The trial is integral to our mission of promoting purebred dogs in our community 👊

To the exhibitors who chose to spend Mother's Day weekend with us, thank you for showing up and showing out. We hope you enjoyed hanging out with us, your dogs and your friends 😍🐕

To the Mother's of all of the above, endless thanks for your understanding of your kids' passion for the dogs and the sport of agility. We love you!!! 🌷
