We were honored to serve as the Day 21 Honorary Team for the South Carolina 7 Expedition at Fort Fair Lawn Trail and Old Santee Canal Park last week! Thank you to South Carolina 7 for highlighting the importance of conserving the places that tell South Carolina's story.

Missed the hike? You can still experience Fort Fair Lawn Trail on your own! The trail is one of Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust's public access properties, giving visitors the opportunity to explore this Revolutionary War-era site year-round.

Trail Hours: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., seven days a week (during Old Santee Canal Park operating hours - 900 Stony Landing Rd, Moncks Corner)
Admission: $5 per person (children age 6 and younger free)

We hope you'll take some time to visit, enjoy the trail, and experience a piece of Berkeley County's history!

We're grateful for the support of community partners like Atlantic Pest and Termite Management Inc. who joined us at our 6th annual Clays for Conservation event last week.

Congratulations to Raleigh West, former Executive Director of Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust (2013-2019), on his impactful leadership at the South Carolina Conservation Bank.

His dedication to land conservation in South Carolina has helped protect thousands of acres of working lands and wildlife habitat.

We are proud that LBCT was part of that journey and grateful for the role he played in strengthening conservation across the Lowcountry.

Wishing him continued success in his next chapter!
