🎉 **A NEW CHAPTER FOR CHANGED LIVES MINISTRY!** 🎉

Today, we are excited to officially announce **Caleb Kennedy as the new Executive Director of Changed Lives Ministry!**

Caleb's story with CLM is truly a testimony to the transforming power of Jesus Christ. On **October 28, 2017**, Caleb entered Changed Lives Ministry as a resident, beginning a journey of recovery and discipleship rooted in prayer, Scripture, and the Gospel. Just eight weeks into the program, Caleb sensed God calling him into ministry. After graduating in January 2018, he remained with CLM as a staff member and eventually served as our **Men's Ministry Director**.

Today, that journey has come full circle.

Caleb has personally experienced the freedom and restoration that come through Christ, and his passion is to help others discover that same hope. His heart for biblical counseling, discipleship, and applying God's Word to everyday life makes him uniquely equipped to lead CLM into this next chapter. Outside of Changed Lives Ministry, Caleb serves as the **bi-vocational pastor of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church**, where he is committed to preaching Scripture, making disciples, and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Caleb's leadership is grounded in a powerful personal testimony. God has brought him from a life marked by drugs, alcohol, fear, anxiety, worry, and destructive choices into a life of purpose, ministry, family, and service. He now has the incredible opportunity to help lead the very ministry that God used as an instrument in his own transformation.

We are also incredibly grateful for **Pastor Eric Lethco** and the faithful service he has given to Changed Lives Ministry during his time as Executive Director. Pastor Eric has poured his time, leadership, and heart into this ministry, and we are thankful that his service to CLM isn't ending. He will continue serving as a **consultant to our Board of Directors**, allowing us to continue benefiting from his wisdom, experience, and leadership.

As we welcome Caleb into this new role, we are excited for what God has in store for Changed Lives Ministry. We believe this is more than a leadership transition—it is another reminder of God's faithfulness and His ability to take a life that has been radically changed by the Gospel and use that life to impact others.

💜 OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY | August 31💜

Today, on **Overdose Awareness Day**, we remember the lives lost to addiction and overdose, honor the families and communities left carrying that loss, and stand with those who are still fighting for freedom.

Addiction can leave behind broken relationships, shattered dreams, and deep wounds—but **there is hope.** At Changed Lives Ministry, we believe that no one is too far gone for God to restore. We have witnessed men and women walk through our doors broken and bound by addiction and walk out with a renewed purpose, restored relationships, and a new life rooted in **Jesus Christ.** 🙏

If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction and needs help, **you don't have to face it alone.** Changed Lives Ministry offers a **180-day, Christ-centered residential recovery and discipleship program at no cost to residents.**

🔥 Faith Talk Thursday | Freedom Isn’t Free — Episode 4

What does freedom actually look like?

Not the bumper-sticker version. Not simply saying, “I'm free,” while secretly being controlled by the same habits, fears, and addictions that have held you captive for years.

Real freedom looks different.

At Changed Lives Ministry, we've had the privilege of watching men and women walk through our doors one way—and walk back out entirely different. We've watched parents who once couldn't answer their children's calls become present and available again. We've watched people who couldn't sleep because of the chaos in their lives finally experience peaceful nights. We've watched men and women rediscover laughter, purpose, relationships, and the simple joy of living.

That's what freedom can look like.

It's waking up without being controlled by your vice.
It's being present with your family.
It's having peace when you lay your head down at night.
It's enjoying life again.
It's knowing that your past no longer owns you.

And ultimately, it's freedom through Jesus Christ. ✝️

In Episode 4 of Freedom Isn't Free, Pastor Tommy takes us to Romans 8:1–2, reminding us that there is “now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” and that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free.

This isn't just a message we preach at CLM. It's something we've watched God do.

❤️ **Volunteer Spotlight: Dianne McKnight** ❤️

For the past year and a half, **Dianne McKnight** has been faithfully serving at the Changed Lives Ministry Resale Store—and we are incredibly blessed to have her as part of the CLM family!

Before joining our ministry, Dianne retired after an incredible **37-year career as a dental hygienist**. After enjoying some well-deserved time in retirement, she began praying about how God might use this next chapter of her life. She felt called to dedicate her time to serving others and leaving a legacy of service.

Through prayer and a connection with another CLM volunteer, Dianne began learning more about Changed Lives Ministry. After attending a CLM Gala, she knew she had found a place where her heart for serving could make a difference.

Today, Dianne serves in our **Processing Department**, helping receive, organize, and prepare donated items for the sales floor. But her impact goes far beyond the work she does behind the scenes. Dianne loves getting to know the men and women in our program, encouraging them along their journey and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Dianne says her time at CLM has answered prayers in ways she never expected—and she truly loves both the work she does and the team she serves alongside.

We see that servant's heart every time she walks through our doors. Her kindness, encouragement, and genuine love for others are a beautiful reflection of Christ, and we are so thankful for the way she pours into everyone she meets.

**Dianne, thank you for saying yes to God's call to serve.** Your faithfulness is making a difference, and we are blessed to have you on our team! ❤️

🎙️ Faith Talk Thursday | Freedom Isn’t Free — Episode 3

Freedom isn’t free—but Jesus already paid the price. ✝️

In Episode 3 of our Freedom Isn’t Free series, Pastor Tommy dives into Romans 6:23 and reminds us of one of the most powerful truths of the Gospel: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The freedom we have through Christ came at a price. Jesus paid it for us. He took the punishment for our sins so that we could receive forgiveness, new life, and true freedom through Him.

And because Jesus paid that price, Changed Lives Ministry refuses to put a price tag on restoration. ❤️

Our 180-day, faith-based residential program is provided completely free of charge to those we serve. Through biblical discipleship, counseling, accountability, community, and practical life skills, we walk alongside men and women as they pursue freedom from addiction and discover the new life that is possible through Jesus Christ.

If you or someone you love is struggling, please don't wait. Reach out. You don't have to fight this battle alone, and your past does not have to determine your future.

💦 BAPTISM SUNDAY AT MT. OLIVET BAPTIST CHURCH! 🙌

What a powerful day of celebration as eight men from Changed Lives Ministry publicly declared their faith and celebrated new life in Jesus Christ through baptism! ❤️

Baptism is a beautiful picture of the transformation that takes place when we surrender our lives to Christ—the old life is buried, and we rise to walk in newness of life. For these eight men, this moment represents more than a ceremony. It represents surrender, redemption, freedom, and a new beginning.

At Changed Lives Ministry, this is what we pray for every person who walks through our doors—not simply that they would overcome addiction, but that they would encounter Jesus Christ, discover their identity in Him, and experience the life-changing power of the Gospel.

We are so proud of these men and grateful to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church for celebrating this incredible step of faith with them. What a joy to watch God take brokenness and turn it into testimony, take bo***ge and turn it into freedom, and take lives that were once lost and give them a brand-new purpose.

Eight men. One Savior. New life in Christ. 🙏
