A HUGE thank you to Charleston Animal Eye Specialists!

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Visser and the team at Charleston Animal Eye Specialists for selecting us as the recipient of proceeds from their merchandise sales!

Last week alone, we spent $1,165 on spay/neuter surgeries for animals in our care. Donations like this help us provide essential medical care, prevent pet overpopulation, and give vulnerable animals a brighter future.

We are especially thankful to businesses like charlestonanimaleye that choose to give back to the animal welfare community. Their compassion extends far beyond their clinic walls and directly impacts the lives of animals and the people who love them.

🚚📦 WE’RE MOVING! 📦🚚

Because of the incredible generosity of our supporters, Forgotten Paws of the South has received so many donations that we've officially outgrown our current storage space!

To continue serving animals and families throughout our community, we are moving into a larger storage unit. This additional space will allow us to better organize supplies, stock our community assistance programs, and be prepared for emergency rescue and intake needs.

To help us get everything organized, we are adding the following items to our Amazon Wishlist:

While we are excited about this growth, the larger storage unit comes with a monthly cost of $180. The good news? We only need 8️⃣ new monthly donors at $20 per month to completely cover this expense and ensure these donations can continue helping animals in need.

Come see us at Hollywood Feed in Summerville, SC to meet a whole bunch of our freshly vetted and oh so cute cats and kittens.

We'll be there from 10am-2pm and we're expecting to see you all! Our kittens would love the visitors AND Hollywood Feed has so many amazing goodies you can pick up while you're there.

🚨 URGENT: LUNA & RUDDER NEED A BREAK FROM PET STORE LIFE 🚨

We're looking for a foster OR adopter for Luna and Rudder (separately) as soon as possible.

💔 Rudder has been waiting at his partner pet store for OVER A MONTH

💔 Luna has only been there about 3 weeks, but the store environment is proving to be very stressful for her.

Ideally, we'd love to find a temporary foster for either cat for the next TWO WEEKS—someone willing to give them a quiet home environment while helping us advertise them for adoption. A foster break can make a huge difference for cats who are struggling in a store setting.

🐾 LUNA
Luna is a five year old with a sweet personality who would much rather be relaxing in a home than living in a store kennel. The constant activity is causing her stress, and she deserves a chance to decompress.

🐾 RUDDER
Rudder is a handsome young guy who has spent over a month waiting for someone to notice him. He's ready for a family of his own and needs a change of scenery before he becomes overlooked.

Both cats are fully vetted and their adoption fees have been REDUCED from $125 to just $75!

Their adoption fee includes:
✔️ Spay/neuter surgery
✔️ Age-appropriate vaccinations
✔️ Rabies vaccine
✔️ FIV/FeLV testing
✔️ Deworming
✔️ Flea prevention
✔️ Microchip

Adoption requirements:
• Adopters must be 18 years of age or older
• All current pets in the home must be spayed/neutered
• All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and preventatives
• Approved adoption application required

Can you foster for two weeks? Can you adopt? Can you share?

Meet three little medical professionals that are there to change your life! Dr. Langdon (big ears), Dr. Robby (eepy), and Princess (grumps).

These little nerds are thriving in their foster home! They're goofy, lovey, curious, and pretty much never stop playing...even as I type this, I can hear their little feets running around upstairs 🐾

All three of them will be spayed/neutered by the end of the weekend which means they'll be ready for you to meet at our Adoption Event on June 20th at Hollywood Feed in Summerville! They can't wait to see you then 😊

The sun is shining, the temperatures are climbing, and yet we still have 20+ cats and kittens that are spending their summer break searching for their forever families. 😢 Luckily, we have an adoption event coming up 😉

Summer is a time for fun, but in South Carolina sometimes the heat means your fun is naps in the AC......which it just so happens that all our kitties LOVE! So that means now is the perfect time to adopt! We'll see you all there 🤭

Sometimes you don’t know how much you need a sped up video of kittens until it comes across your feed 🧘🏼‍♀️ Roadie, Dr. Robby, Dr. Langdon, and Princess are happy to report that they’re all settling into their foster home well and can’t wait to finally be able to meet their forever families! Meet our little Disney crew; Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy🐭🦆

These 4 little cuties were born to a feral mom but it was quickly made clear that wasn't the life they were destined to live. So, here they are 😉

They've came such a long way thanks to their amazing foster. All 4 of them will be spayed/neutered within the next week and may just be available to meet at our next adoption event 🤭 Reach out to us for more info on any of them!
