Emmie is coming to the NAWS ReTails Resale shop tomorrow, Saturday May 15 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.!

Meet this adorable one-year-old tabby with swirly stripes, bright curious eyes, and a total talent for stealing hearts. Found as a stray and now recently spayed and fully vetted through the NAWS program, Emmie has been blossoming in foster care and showing everyone just how charming she really is. She has a soft, expressive face, a graceful little strut, and a sweet habit of settling in close once she decides you’re one of her people.

Emmie may be a little shy in new places or around new people at first, but give her a little patience, some gentle affection, and she warms up beautifully. In fact, if there is a choice between snacks and snuggles, Emmie may very well choose your lap first. She adores neck scratches, chin rubs, and cozy cuddle time, and when she’s especially happy, you’ll be rewarded with purrs and biscuits. Once her cuddle meter is full, she is ready to switch gears and show off her playful side.

This girl loves action, especially fishing wand toys, little springs, and anything she can chase, catch, or pounce on with enthusiasm. Because Emmie can get a little overstimulated and slip into playful “kitten mode,” she would do best with older children or adults who understand cat body language and can respect her cues. She may also do well with another young, playful cat, but she’ll need very slow, thoughtful introductions and a patient adopter. Whether she ends up as your one-and-only cuddle bug or the lively sidekick in a cat-savvy home, Emmie is ready to bring affection, fun, and plenty of personality to her forever family.
