Tri Chevy Association The club was founded in 1972, and has approximately 120 members. We are located in the south Chicagoland area.

Membership is open to anyone interested in 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevrolet's (ownership of these cars area not required.) For information on the annual swap meet held in June every year in Peotone, Illinois, consult the following:

Will County residents can drop off old car, small truck, and tractor for at Will County's Tire Recycling Event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8 AM to 3 PM at the Will County Fairgrounds (710 S West St, Peotone, IL 60468). 100 tires maximum per vehicle will be accepted, and residents must be able to unload their own tires. Please no heavily soiled tires, off road tires, or business/industrial tires!

It is with a heavy heart, we announce the passing of one of our members.

Our prayers go out to Cheri, Jason, Stephanie, and others that loved Bill.

William E. Billings
July 7, 1947 - July 18, 2026

William E. Billings, age 79, of Kankakee, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. He was born on July 7, 1947 in Kankakee, the son of Armel and Darlene (Goyette) Billings. He married Cheri Green on February 4, 1967 in St. Anne.

William worked in maintenance at General Foods.

William is survived by his wife, Cheri Billings of Kankakee; one son, Jason Billings of Kankakee; and one daughter, Stephanie Billings of Bourbonnais.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Judy Varboncouer.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. Private interment will take place at Mound Grove Cemetery in Kankakee.

Memorials may be made to family wishes.
