If you don’t have plans this weekend or happen to be around Pensacola go check out the Gumbo Shootout at Hadji Shrine and taste your way through some GOOD gumbo! 🥣🔥

ABBA will be represented by a few of our very own Kitchen Mafia members - the Godfather himself, Mr. Bill VanHook, along with Chefs Bradley Duffy & Rodney Davis!👨🏽‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳

They’ll be cooking up TWO different gumbo:
🦐 A seafood gumbo
🥘 A non-seafood gumbo

So come hungry, try them all, and make sure you stop by and show our ABBA crew and their ladies some love! 💙

Good luck, Kitchen Mafia! Y’all better bring that trophy back to Mobile! 🏆🔥

Do you know the story behind the statue seen at Shriners Chidren's and Shriners International buildings?

The story goes back to a Hadi Shriners picnic 56 years ago in Evansville, Indiana, where a Shriner named Al Hortman picked up little Bobbi Jo Wright, a patient at Shriners Children’s St. Louis, and helped carry her around for the day. Sunday Courier & Press Photographer Randy Dieter captured this act of kindness on one of the last images on his roll of film. This photo would later inspire the creation of the iconic statue.
