Today, we remember Officer Greenwald. On this anniversary of his End of Watch, we pause to remember his service, his sacrifice, and the family he left behind.

Today, as we gather for the Miles for Heroes 5K, his name and his memory will be with us.

With every mile, we will think of Officer Greenwald and the many heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice—and of the families who continue to carry their absence every single day.

Today, we run in their honor.
Today, we remember.
Today, we stand with their families.

🏃‍♀️ THERE’S A REASON SO MANY PEOPLE FALL IN LOVE WITH RUNNING.

It’s not always about how fast you go.

It’s about setting a goal and discovering that you’re capable of more than you thought.

It’s about pushing through the days when it’s hard.
It’s about taking one more step when you want to stop.
It’s about reaching that finish line and realizing you did it.

Because the truth is, we all struggle in different ways.

What may come easily to one person may be a tremendous accomplishment for another. And sometimes, simply showing up and refusing to quit is a victory all its own.

That’s what we want the Jailbreak 5K & Fun Run to be about.

Yes, this is a fundraiser to help families who have experienced the loss or serious injury of a law enforcement officer.

But it’s also a celebration of every person who sets a goal, faces their own challenges, and keeps moving forward.

Today, we remember Officer Reeves on the anniversary of his End of Watch.

Years may pass, but the sacrifice of a hero is never forgotten. We remember the service he gave, and the life he gave in the line of duty.

We also remember the family, friends, brothers and sisters in blue, and everyone whose lives were forever changed by his loss.

Today, we honor his memory.
We honor his service.
We honor his sacrifice.

Gone from sight, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, Officer Reeves.
Your watch may have ended, but your legacy lives on. 💙

Officer Reeves had served with the Mobile Police Department for four years. He is survived by (unknown information at this time).
