The Alabama Power Service Organization or APSO is a nonprofit volunteer group focused on serving the community by developing and supporting charitable projects that promote the core values of Alabama Power Company by improving education, the environment and many other Alabama community needs. APSO is a 501(c)(3) organization and is separate from Alabama Power Company. All funds for APSO are raised

by the local chapters and donated by its members and their fundraising efforts. The Mobile Division chapter of APSO is comprised of local employees and their families who volunteer their time to benefit our local community.

When school is out, Feeding the Gulf Coast is here to ensure children in our region have access to free, nutritious meals all summer long. Through the federal Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), our summer feeding sites provide free meals to keep kids healthy, active, and fueled.
