Child hunger rises significantly in the summer when kids lose access to school breakfast and lunch programs ☀️

The HRCXI Summer Lunch Program is here to help!

Starting June 16 through August 14, 2025, free meals will be available for all youth ages 1–18 (no summer school enrollment required), Mon–Thurs, 11:30 AM–12:30 PM at Eva Horning Park in Superior, MT.

Helping ensure kids in our community have access to nutritious meals all summer long!

After years of moving between locations, they are building a permanent home in Superior!��From grant writing and mentorship to in-kind support, HRCXI is proud to help move this vital project forward, supporting their mission of “ending hungry tomorrows, today.”

At HRCXI, we understand that mental well-being is deeply connected to the stability of everyday life; things like housing, employment, education, and access to basic needs.

Our work is rooted in strengthening those foundations so individuals and families can better navigate life’s challenges and move toward greater well-being and stability.

This month, let’s work together to reduce stigma, encourage connection, and recognize that mental well-being is shaped by the conditions people live in, because when individuals are supported, Montana’s communities are stronger.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program application period deadline is this Thursday, April 30.

At HRC XI, we’re here to help eligible households reduce energy costs. Assistance is based on factors like income, household size, fuel type, and housing situation – and benefits are paid directly to your energy provider in most cases.
