This pride month, we wanted to bring attention to a housing disparity that often goes unnoticed: LGBTQ+ people. These graphs are using data from the UCLA's 2020 study into homeownership among LGBTQ+ people. This study also found that these numbers are missing important context: even among LGBTQ+ people, transgender people and racial minorities had even lower homeownership rates than these pictured. Furthermore, homeless and unhoused statistics show that LGBTQ+ people are at risk of housing instability at higher rates.
