June is Men's Mental Health Month.
In the fire service, we're trained to show up when others need help. But it's just as important that we show up for each other.
Mental health challenges don't always look the way we expect, and sometimes the strongest thing you can do is check in on a friend, coworker, or family member. A simple conversation can make a difference.
We're proud to have a strong Peer Support Team within our local, dedicated to ensuring our members never have to face life's challenges alone. Whether you're struggling, stressed, or just need someone to talk to, support is available.
This month, and every month, let's continue to break the stigma around mental health and remind one another that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Check in. Listen. Support each other.
Here for you 24/7/365.
