Join us in Missoula Public Library's Level 1 Lobby for this unique benefit and sale from the eclectic estate of Lydia Weeden. It was Lydia's wish that her multi-layered collection of clothing (vintage, natural fiber, adult and children's), jewelry, toys and dolls, books and household goods would benefit MPL. Lydia was an avid reader and iconic member of our library community. Until her death at 90 earlier this year, she visited the Library several times a week to check out a new stack of books, participate in lifelong learning programs, and climb the sun-drenched staircase. Help us celebrate Lydia's adventurous spirit and colorful life while supporting the MPL's vibrant lifelong learning programs!

EDIT: ROOM HAS CHANGED TO MPL'S LEVEL 1 SOUTH LOBBY! Join us at Missoula Public Library for this unique benefit and sale from the eclectic estate of Lydia Weeden. Lydia was an avid reader and iconic MPL superfan. Until her death at 90 earlier this year, she visited the Library several times a week to climb the sun-drenched staircase, participate in lifelong learning programs, and check out a new stack of books. It was her wish that her collection of clothing, jewelry, and household goods would benefit her Library home-away-from-home. Help us celebrate Lydia's adventurous spirit and colorful life while supporting MPL’s dynamic programs.

Be a part of the discussion!

Help us make the library even better! 💙

We want to hear from you! Missoula Public Library, Families First, the UM Living Lab, Missoula’s Community Media Resource, and the spectrUM Discovery Area are All Under One Roof (AUOR) partners at the downtown library.

If you or your family have used services, attended programs, or spent time at the library building at 455 E. Main St., we’d love to hear about your experience. This voluntary survey will help us better understand how our community uses the building and how we can improve our programs, services, and spaces.

The survey takes about 5–7 minutes to complete, and your responses will remain confidential. As a thank you, you can enter a drawing to win a $25 Downtown Gift Card! To take the survey scan the code, click the link in our bio, or visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AUOR_Community_Survey_2026

Your feedback helps us create a library that better serves our whole community. Take the survey and share your thoughts!

Missoula, we're so grateful for your support during this year's Missoula Gives campaign. We look forward to leveraging your gifts to promote the joys of literacy, the freedom to read, and the magic of curiosity at our favorite library. And coming soon—thanks to community generosity—a new living roofscape at MPL. Stay tuned library fans and friends!

In an era when it seems the world is closing in and unwelcoming …. public libraries guard the frontlines of democracy, and expand the frontiers of our imagination. Your gift can give children access to Indigenous literature, send resources to the far corners of the County, or plant a climate resilient seed on Missoula Public Library’s new green roofscape. With your support, everyone can always find a place to belong at Missoula Public Library.
