The Minot Chamber Chorale

The Minot Chamber Chorale We are a mixed SATB choir that has brought music to the Minot community for more than a half century. The Minot Chamber Chorale performs 4 concerts per season.

The Minot Chamber Chorale was founded to fill an unmet need in the community — that of a mixed chorus to present quality choral literature. After forty years, it is still the only mixed community choir in Minot. The Broadway/Pops Spectacular is usually held in the Beginning of October, and features favorites from Irving Berlin to George Gershwin, to modern Broadway favorites! The Chorale kicks off

the Christmas season at the beginning of December with a Renaissance Christmas Feast! The Feast features Lord Erik, and Lady Pamela and their entire court of lords and ladies! A meal is offered, and fun is always had at this festive Christmas Concert! The third concert takes place in mid-February, and is usually full of fantastic and classic choral works. The Choral has performed works from Bach to Mozart to Whitacre in this Winter Concert. The Chamber Chorale wraps up their season in late April with a Choral Mixer and Ice Cream Social. The spring concert is a smorgasbord of choral works and is followed by a fun Ice Cream social. Dolly Parton, who rose from a loving if impoverished upbringing in the mountains of East Tennessee to become the “Queen of Country” music, a Hollywood star, and a beloved American icon, has died, her family announced.

Parton was 80.

Her death came after Parton suddenly announced in May 2026 that she was canceling a Las Vegas show and said she'd been undergoing treatment for kidney stones for several years.
